What are your delivery charges?
UK shipping is free just now and we hope this will always be the case! Parcels are sent first class but not insured for loss. We re-use jiffy bags and mailing bags where possible and all our printing is done on recycled paper.
If you prefer we can send your parcel by Recorded Mail, which is charged at Royal Mail prices; choose this option at checkout if you are happy to pay the extra.
Sadly we can't offer free shipping outside the UK, other than for US orders over $100. Contact us for more information on this option.
How else can I get my goodies?
If you are in the Preston area and you can collect your order from Deepdale Retail Park on a Thursday evening you don‘t have to pay postage at all! The Preston Stitch & Bitch group meets there from 7-9pm every Thursday and I‘ll be happy to take your order with me on a Thursday to suit us both. Just choose store pick-up when you check out and either pay by Paypal or cash on collection.
What is your refund policy?
We'll do all we can to make sure everything we sent out is perfect, but if you do receive something that is faulty in any way, please do get in touch with us. We'll ask you to return it to us for a full refund, including postage. If you have any balls of yarn spare from a project you may return them to us, in perfect condition, for a refund. In this case though we wouldn't refund your postage.
What about gift-wrapping?
We love gift-wrapping! In fact everything that leaves the Brownberry shop is wrapped prettily. If you're sending something to a friend do ask me to put a note in on your behalf and leave out the invoice / packing slip.
Can I buy a Brownberry gift voucher?
Yes of course you can, simply choose 'Gift Voucher' and enter a qty (this will be GBP, eg, choose a qty of 10 if you want a £10 GBP gift voucher). Pay in the usual way, we'll email you a voucher to give to your friend!
